Understand and Integrate the Reshoring Decision
Reshoring goes far beyond a simple sourcing operation; it is a strategic approach aimed at bringing back to France or Europe a supply chain previously outsourced to a distant country for primarily technological or economic reasons.1 -
Project Diagnosis
Before starting the search and selection of suppliers, Bridging will analyze your strategic motivations (sovereignty, securing quality and the supply chain, social and societal strategy, etc.) and perform an impact analysis. This diagnosis will cover the technical, economic (including full cost), organizational, and human challenges to overcome and will complete the consultation file2 -
Supplier Selection
The market study will establish the feasibility of the project and the reshoring challenges for each pre-selected supplier. During the supplier selection process, additional criteria will be considered, such as the supplier's ability to rethink product designs and industrial processes, and the ability to optimize certain tasks to sustainably compensate for higher labor costs.
If necessary, Bridging will implement a supplier development program to simplify product design, optimize industrial and organizational performance.3 -
